To everyone in the list, and everyone I forgot to add: Of all the people who don’t suck, you guys don’t suck the most.

That is to say, I’m lucky to have gotten to know you all. I’ve known some of you longer than others, but I have the same message for each and every one of you: You are, by and large, my favorite people. Happy New Year.

I really hope I got all of the tags right. Tumblr saves all of the goddamn useless tags, but usernames? “NOPE, SORRY BRAH. YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN.”

I quite like the UI. It all depends on how you use it I guess. The updates do make it much nicer

Well, to each his own. I prefer a simpler, classic style UI with a Start button and normal menu layout. And I can’t stand those cluttered ribbons. It takes five clicks to do what you used to be able to do with one. Granted, I’m sure Metro UI would be fantastic with a tablet computer, but it’s just seems like wasted space and chaos to me. And it really seems like Microsoft screwed themselves royally - I can’t see any company putting 8 on their office computers, especially since it’s such a huge departure from the previous versions. That is, unless Microsoft forces their hand by dropping support for all of their older operating systems.
